Practice Manager / Pre-Sales Manager, End User Computing

Solugenix is assisting a client in seeking a Practice Manager for their end user computer business specializing in providing technical pre-sales support and management solution/services consulting for global customers, prospects, and partners.


We aren’t looking for someone that meets our expectations; we want someone that consistency exceeds them. This role can be performed from Torrance, CA (Post COVID) or remote, but preferably in Southern California.

  • 3+ years of relevant sales engineering / technical sales, business development, consulting, or client support experience including customer facing demonstrations or presentations
  • Experience with end user computing, workplace services (service desk, desk side support, and IT service management is preferred)
  • Proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Communications, Business, Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Position yourself as a go-to consultative resource and solutions expert for the greater business development team
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to communicate diplomatically, confidently, and effectively



  • Develop a deep understanding and working knowledge of the firm's business and functional domain
  • Provide support to prospects' questions via proposals, presentations, bid sheets, about the firm's product, servicing, and other technical aspects, and responding to RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs
  • Support sales prospects conducting assessment and solutions evaluations.
  • Work with Professional Services team on high-value consulting assignments, customizations and post-sale customer requirements.
  • Understand customer goals and challenges, map solutions to customer needs.
  • Researching the industry to anticipate changes that could impact current and future sales, and developing an understanding of current leading edge capabilities across all competitors
  • Attend, present and/or speak at conferences, seminars and webinars.
  • Actively seek innovations that will take our customers projects to the next level
  • Travel may be required (10-20% on average post COVID).
